A novel multi-band internal antenna, consisting of a driving folded loop element and a parasitic meandered line element, is proposed for six-band applications including TDMB, AMPS, GSM, DCS, PCS and SDMB bands. To effectively operate for two split TDMB bands, the proposed antenna includes a switching circuit.
