We modeled the human stream of consciousness by using the new concepts of association and phrase network, and consciousness network. A database for constructing the association and phrase network was created using information available on the Internet, which is renewed daily by humans. The database contains 430,000 association words and phrases. The reliability of the database was evaluated by conducting three experiments: dictionary matching, distribution of association values and comparison between associations derived from the database and human mental images.
