An intelligent neural PID controller is proposed to improve the performance of control system. The controller is consisted of new type proportional neuron, delay neuron, integral neuron and derivative networks. The topology structure and the intelligent learning algorithm of controller are also described. Two plants of control system are used for simulation. The results of simulation shows that the intelligent neural controller proposed in this paper is the better one for control system to reach optimal control performance.
