Mutual information of non-Kronecker structured dual-polarized 2/spl times/2 channels

This paper investigates the mutual information of several 2/spl times/2 systems using orthogonal polarizations. Analytical approximations of the mutual information in equi-power allocation scenarios are derived and compared in both Rayleigh and Ricean fading conditions.
