In this paper, we enhance the design of a reputation mechanism by sensing the cooperative behaviors between nodes that are part of a multi-agents system as a wireless ad hoc network. The so-called NEURAL-Trust mechanism was applied to manage cooperative decision procedures based on the monitoring of reputation rating between agents. The neuron routing algorithm (NEURAL) was employed as base routing protocol in a mobile ad hoc network. The integration of the above trust mechanism in the route discovery phase allows the improvements of metrics as average delay, packet delivery ratio, and throughput such as shown simulation results.
