This paper presents simulated results for a slot-coupled circularly polarized rectangular notch dielectric resonator antenna fed by a microstrip line. Using a suitable arrangement of the notch space and matching circuits, over 20% (750 MHz) wideband impedance bandwidth and a 5% wider bandwidth of 3 dB axial ratio in the boresight direction, can be obtained. The antenna gain is near 7 dBic and had a 0.5 dB axial ratio at the central frequency of 3.385 GHz.
