In the electromagnetic scattering problem for 2D corner reflectors illuminated by a line electric current, we examined the validity of the MoM with novel large-size local-domain basis functions including phase detour. The proposed method is advantageous in the analysis of a scatterer that is very large with respect to a wavelength.
