Numerical investigation of photonic crystals and their role to reduce bistable behavior of nonlinear optical waveguide

Here it is analyzed a new way to reduce critical power of bistable behavior in nonlinear optical waveguides, through using of two different geometries (circular and quadrangular) of photonic crystals (PC) embedded into waveguide.
