This paper has presented a comprehensive analysis and management system for power system transient information. Various intelligent electronic devices can record these transients so that their impacts on the equipment and system operation can be studied. The network structure and communication mode are expounded, and the net-structure of main station and subsidiary station is proposed. The transient data have been gathered with multi-communication network. After diagnosis and analysis by control server, the result can be easily retrieved on the computer network, and provided for the dispatchers and substation operators to monitor power system running state currently, or even deal with power system faults in time. The useful information will be wide share and will promote operation automation. Finally the practical application shows that the proposed system scheme makes the power system reliability enhanced
