The performance of blind multiuser detection in ds-cdma systems is often very sensitive to signature waveform mismatch. In this paper, a robust blind linear multiuser detector based on a robust capon beamforming technique is proposed. The detector belongs to the class of diagonal loading approaches, but the amount of diagonal loading can be precisely calculated based on the given uncertainty set of signature waveform. It turns out that the presented method exhibits improved performance on bit error rate, the ratio of signal to interference plus noise, and asymptotic multiuser efficiency.
