With the development of networking, negotiation of e-commerce faces a new challenge. A Web service-based approach for negotiation can improve the extensibility and interoperability of negotiation service. Firstly, the related works including negotiation forms, negotiation process, Web services and ebXML are introduced. Secondly, the architecture of negotiation model based on Web services is put forward. And the function and implement of the primary component of model are further discussed. Thirdly, the table storage structure for NSRC (negotiation services register center) is presented. Fourthly, an economic-based negotiation strategy for negotiation server is discussed and we get a result about two particular consumer populations. Finally, some problems about completing the model are proposed for the future work.
