Supply chain-oriented planning and scheduling system can be considered to a type of hybrid production process system. In this paper, the management characteristics of an enterprise oriented supply chain were analyzed, and over all structure of planning and scheduling system were given. An approach based on rules, multi-agent technique, distributed control, multi-closed loop control and user cooperation was presented. It hierarchically decomposed the large-scale planning and scheduling problem into the planning level problems, the scheduling level problems and material tracking feedback level problems. The system is developed based on J2EE and its interrelated modules worked dynamically and systematically in Web environment. The results of implementation for a typical complex manufacturing enterprise - Dongbei special steel group show that the system is valid and feasible.
