In this paper, a novel sequential error concealment method based on MAP (maximum a posterior) by using texture detection is proposed. And a conversion from posterior probability calculation to texture detection is made to facilitate the solution-finding process. Compared to the state-of-the-art method, almost the same quality can be obtained with much computational load saved.
