We propose a space-time block coded (STBC) multicarrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) scheme, where multiple antennas are distributed arbitrarily at the base station. Unlike other blind STBC-MC-CDMA schemes, ours does not decrease the maximum number of available users after linearly precoding at the transmitter. By exploiting the eigenvalue decomposition (EVD) and the redundant structure of the STBC, we estimate the uplink vector channel impulse response (VCIR) blindly. Computer simulation results demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed VCIR estimation algorithm.
