In this paper, we implemented PSIP generating system that creates PSIP and PSI tables based on PMCP. The system consists of a controller and a PSIP generator, which are elements of generic data broadcasting system, and communicates metadata based on PMCP. The PSIP generator not only generates PSIP and PSI tables from metadata based on PMCP but also outputs TS packets. The controller, the other part of system, makes metadata needed for PSIP, PSI according to PMCP. Each part has a database and manages metadata using this database. For each part, we adopted efficient XML parsers according to implementation environments. Also, we tested the system with metadata we made by ourselves.
