A new holographic imaging method using many slightly different frequencies is introduced, which gives not only azimuth resolution but also fine range resolution. It is also proposed to space the frequencies nonuniformly in order to avoid range ambiguity. Promising ultrasound experiments, using 40 frequencies, are also presented.
