An STF-based chaos synchronization and its application to secure communication

The strong tracking filter (STF) is introduced as a new synchronization method for the chaotic communication systems with noise existing in both system and channel. STF improves the extended Kalman filter (EKF) which has been used widely in the chaotic communication. Compared with EKF-based method, the STF-based chaos synchronization technique is more robust to system model error and has smaller mean square error (MSE).
