An embedded system for 3D sound movement is implemented. Based on feature extraction of HRTF (head-related transfer function), an efficient scheme for filter coefficient sharing is devised, which reduces the required memory amount by about 93% and enables sound movement at all points in 3D space. An FPGA-based prototype system is also constructed.
