In this paper we examine the improvements in the performance of a broadband OFDM-based system using MIMO techniques. The MIMO techniques evaluated are VBLAST, SFBC, STBC and subcarrier by subcarrier selection. Performance results are presented for coded and uncoded system, for a typical indoor scenario.
