In recent years many research on routing protocols for mobile ad-hoc networks has been conducted. However, despite some prior effort, an scheme to provide reliable end-to-end QoS has not been hitherto proposed. Therefore, it still remains one of the main open issues. In this paper we propose a novel reliable position-based network layer solution for quality of service (QoS) routing in mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs). First results show that the proposed architecture affords stable behavior, which is an essential premise for QoS routing.
