The purpose of this paper is the description of an application for the complete automation of a mosaics manufacturing process with irregular random pieces, so called trencadı´s. An intelligent robotic cell has been implemented by using intelligent methods and pattern recognition techniques to assemble unpredictable objects in an autonomous manner.
