Output feature of the switched-capacitor (SC) DC-DC converter is limited by the capacitance of the capacitor network and the switch frequency. It is a main difficulty for the monolithically integrated SC DC-DC converter to manufacture the integrated capacitor network with large capacitance. In order to improve output feature of the SC DC-DC converter, we propose here a improved converter circuit in which a gyrator is employed to enlarge the capacitance of the capacitor network and make the converter output higher current and higher power without integration of a large capacitor network.
