We propose a multi-user detection (MUD) based on iterative interference cancellation (UC) for a multiple-access multi-carrier M-ary frequency-shift-keying (MC-MFSK) system. The MC-MFSK is a new multiple-access technique with the desirable properties of frequency diversity and near-far resistance. The error performance of MC-MFSK system with the IIC-based MUD algorithm is studied over noise-free and Rayleigh fading channels. Both analytical and simulation results are presented, and it will be shown that the IIC-based MUD algorithm can be easily implemented and improve system performance considerably.
