We demonstrate electro-optic spectral tuning in an optical parametric oscillator employing a segmented periodically poled LiNbO/sub 3/ (PPLN) crystal. The signal and idler waves obtained, are difference-frequency-mixed to produce mid-IR tunable from /spl sim/ 10.5 to /spl sim/ 9.4 /spl mu/m.
