This paper presents a simple and practical method to determine EMI noise source and impedance of power converters. A lumped circuit modeling approach is proposed for describing the conducted EMI coupling. The information of the models can be analytically deduced from a circuit theoretical viewpoint. An experimental illustration is also given to verify the validity of the proposed method. The procedure for estimating the parameters of the models comprises several measurements and is convenient to implement and shows adequate prediction of EMI feature in power converters.
