This paper presents a tool for the automatic finite element analysis of a set of electrical machines. It is based on the modern object-oriented programming. Taking advantage of the structure of classes and the mechanism of inheritance, the analysis of vary PM electrical machines can be carried out with slight effort. In addition, thanks to the polymorphism mechanism, it is not necessary to adopt a unique finite element software, but different software's can be conveniently adopted, according the requirements.
