The authors review the experience of the Computer Aided Simulation Modeling (CASM) group at the London School of Economics in investigating integrated modeling support and discuss the methodological perspectives underlying the work. A general discussion of modeling perspective and software support is presented, followed by a discussion of developments within the CASM project. In particular, such issues as graphics-driven systems and the interfacing of simulation and expert systems are considered
