Equalization and multi-user detection are well-studied signal processing techniques in the literature. For the fixed (stationary) channel the efficacy of minimal resource allocation network (MRAN) is studied in detail, in this paper the applicability of MRAN is extended to time varying case of single user transmission as well as fixed and tune varying scenarios of multi-user direct sequence code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) case. The paper presents simulation results together with fine-tuning/observations necessary in the implementation of the algorithm for the said cases.
