To better prepare students for their senior design project the electrical engineering department at the University of Hartford has created a course to introduce students to data acquisition, data reporting, and project preparation. The course includes lectures on sensors, acquisition, signal conditioning, calibration, measurement practices, data reporting and presentation. Concurrently the students perform experiments in data acquisition, signal conditioning, and measurements.
