Simple information sharing is inadequate for the supply chain management today. In this article we put forward a R5 model for knowledge sharing instead of information sharing in supply chain, which combine the CBR's characteristic that can make best use of information on hand with the RS's strong function in data mining, thereby set up a sharable knowledge base among the supply chain to elevate the finally product (including service)'s competence.
