This work shows how to use symmetrical linear antenna arrays to improve the lower bounds of the mean square value and standard deviation of the mutual interference between signal users uniformly distributed in a circular cell model. A general expression is obtained for the lower bounds to be used with excitation coefficients of design methods such as Tschebyscheff method, binomial method and a new method that uses excitation coefficients values uniformly distributed in an appropriate interval. It is shown that this new design method overcomes the classical methods and demands a lower computational effort. In both cases, the classical and the new excitation coefficients method, the array elements are distributed along the array axis provided that elements placed at the ends have the same excitation amplitude.
