This work is concerned with the development of combined scintillation detectors based on new materials doped with Ce. A combined detector, consisting of doped single crystal films on an undoped bulk substrate, is intended for biology and radiation monitoring. Below, various types of combined scintillation detection systems are considered and the ways of the improvement of their operation characteristics are proposed.
