A new health care system using a face robot and a tele-operation system via the Internet is proposed in this paper. The proposed robot system is composed of the face robot with a personal computer. Patient's health care data can be stored in the personal computer and the robot system can take many actions depending on the stored data. It can tell a patient what time to take his/her medication and reprimand them if they fail to take their medication at the appropriate time. The robot system can communicate with a patient using facial expressions, a voice communication system and a display on the personal computer. The tele-operation system via the Internet is also developed to operate the face robot from anywhere in the world.
