The system for the intercomparison of unlike impedances of the Istituto Elettrotecnico Nazionale Galileo Ferraris, based on the three-voltmeter method and four-terminal pair definition of the standards, has now been provided with a new direct-digital synthesis generator, having multiple outputs, isolation among the channels, and high amplitude and frequency stability. Experimental results obtained using the new generator are shown and compared with those achieved with the previous system configuration.
