The distinguishing feature of the suggested escort system is the usage of a specially developed for batch transmission by radio channel RIC-M controller. That allowed creating intellectual terminals on mobile objects and connecting them into a single information system without using a computer. An important advantage of this escort system is a possibility of using different types of communication links and its integration with GIS. Here is a method of simulating escort systems, using structural-graphical representations of imitating models and a theory of active models suggested below. Active model's construction is reduced to a composition of module-imitators, playing a part of commands of a virtual machine. Thus active model is a program for virtual machine and the imitation of modelling system's functioning corresponds to program execution on this machine. Such point of view allows transforming a source model of a system into an appropriate variant of it.
