Special requirements for demanufacturing of military electronics

The disposal of military electronics presents many special challenges for the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) as well as the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Office (DRMO) material specialist each day. The waste stream may not be much different than that found in any municipal collection program. The protection and preservation of technology found within this waste stream is essential for national security. The proper disposal of military electronics is the ultimate goal for all concerned.
