Tokamak-15 cryogenic system-the results of design and experimental analysis-the experience data

The Tokamak-15 cryogenic system is the largest helium system operated in the USSR and comprises two subsystems: nitrogen and helium. The cryogenic helium system is designed for cooldown and steady-state operation of superconducting coils of the TF 300 t magnetic system and the devices of plasma additional heating, and the nitrogen system is designed for steady-state operation of shields, cryostat supports, cryoresistive coils, precooling, and purification stages of the cryogenic helium system.<
