A Novel testbed that simulates the adaptive pattern smart antenna system based on CDMA is described in this paper. It is built with Simulink in Matlab. The designer of the third generation wireless communication system can utilize it to simulate the smart antenna system based on CDMA and evaluate various antenna array manifolds and adaptive algorithms.
