IPSec protocols offer a standard security mechanism, used for security service to upper protocols (such as UDP and TCP). The paper introduces the design and implementation of the Router Security Subsystem based on IPSec, the important part of the High Performance Security Router made by Tsinghua University. We complete consummate and reliable security functions, and use various optimal methods to enhance the performance furthest.
