Server cost minimization in a distributed servers architecture for on-demand video services

In this letter, we present analytical solutions to compute the optimal lengths of prefixes in a distributed servers architecture for on-demand video services which minimize total storage cost or total streaming cost. Our optimal solutions improve the approximate solutions proposed in a previous paper.
