By contrasting and analyzing the existing network communication methods in a remote fault diagnosis system, this paper introduces a low cost and reliable system plan including embedded network communication and data acquisition. In the system, only by adding an embedded network communication interface based on the existing electromechanical equipment and with serial communication, network communication and some other technologies, users can collect data from the spot equipment to the public platform of remote fault diagnosis and let the public diagnosis platform implement the remote inspection and fault diagnosis of multi users' electromechanical equipment.
