A phase-steered linear array feed for a parabolic cylindrical reflector antenna is considered. The nearly cylindrical wave radiated from this line feed in the Fresnel zone is expressed in terms of the isolated-element pattern. The correction to this wave due to diffraction from the endpoints of the line feed and from the grating formed by the array elements is also derived.
