A new criterion for jump resonance of nonlinear control systems is presented. The jump resonance phenomenon is classified into various types according to the form of the frequency response curve, some of which are new and not found in the previous publications. A simple graphical method to predict each type of jump resonance is studied. Experimental results by analog simulation are shown.
