Dual six-ports, and other network analyzers that can be treated as mathematically equivalent to dual vector four-ports, are commonly calibrated by the TRL (through-reflect-line) method or one of its variants. The use of unknown one-ports for calibration with this method, and also for super-through-short-delay, an extension of the TRL method. is discussed.<
