Wave propagation through a hollow rectangular anisotropic dielectric guide

Wave propagation through a hollow rectangular dielectric guide with anisotropic surrounding is studied here. It has been shown that anisotropy can be utilized to reduce the loss in resonating structure of the gas laser system.
