A new VHS FM audio-processing IC has been developed which contains a new peak-noise-reduction system. With the new circuitry, audio filters can be fully integrated without degrading the IC performance and the total dynamic range. In addition, the trimming points of the system are reduced from 6 to 2, which results in high cost-effectiveness
