Two-electron laser transition in Sn(I)?

A new laser oscillation has been observed in a pulsed discharge of He and SnCl
4
. This oscillation at 1.061 μm corresponds to the
5sSp^{3} ^{3}D\min{1}\max{o} \rightarrow 5s^{2}5p6p ^{3}P_{2}
transition in Sn(I).
