A new laser oscillation has been observed in a pulsed discharge of He and SnCl4. This oscillation at 1.061 μm corresponds to the 5s5p^{3} \hbox{ }^{3}D^{\circ}_{1} \longrightarrow 5s^{2}5p6p \hbox{ }^{3}P_{2} transition in Sn(I).
