A construction technique is given for complex sequences, each component of magnitude unity, with Iow autocorrelation and cross correlation. The construction is based on an application of the Carlitz-Uchiyama theorem to cyclic equivalence classes of maximal period of Reed-Solomon codes over GF (p),p being an odd prime.
