A steep front approximation for nonlinear diffusion into a ferromagnetic half-space is developed. This approximation is valid under the assumption of large driving H fields. The neglect of the flux under this front results in a forward shift of the H-field profile. To approximately correct for this shift, a shifted steep front solution is introduced. An L-G transmission line model is introduced to provide a comparison with these approximate solutions.
