In this paper, two kinds of space-time block coded transmit diversity are proposed for OFDM system in mobile channels. One is in time domain and at least one frame (one symbol) delay is needed for the decoding algorithm; the other is in frequency domain so it also can be termed as space-frequency coded (SFC) transmit diversity more concisely, and no delay is needed for the decoding algorithm. We simulate the performance of these kinds of space-time block coded transmit diversity, the space-time trellis coded transmit diversity with 4- and 16-state are also simulated to give out a performance comparison with space-time block coded transmit diversity in this paper.
